No free first class then :)

Solution 1 would be for the TOC to supply eye shades as they do on the Scottish Sleepers for FC passengers so you couldn't see them and earplugs so you couldn't hear them.
Solution 2 find where the speakers are and use a pair of shears to cut the cabling rendering the microphones useless.

If all that failed, then ask the train manager to drop them off at one of the remote stations en route!

That would be against the 'Free First Class Journey With Jedward Carriage Laws'

For a short journey i'd stay in there, i quite liked them in the end and they seem like nice lads. Might drive me slightly insane on a 4 hour journey though.

I wonder whether buying earplugs is cheaper or more expensive than the First Class upgrade

I think I'd throw out the idiot who decided this would be a good idea in the first place ;)

I'd demand that they shut up and find the TM to shove them into Cattle Class. Failing that, the window hammer sounds like a good idea, although I would start at the teeth to ensure that there'd be no music for a long time.

Personally; I'd be more inclined to remain where I was seated...But I'd be throwing the power lever into the Boost position and coaxing our steed into a truly flesh-tearing rate of accelleration - Producing forces so intense that they'd be horribly crushed and Slaughtered in the Goriest and most satisfying manner possible! <D<D<D

...Although if I was stuck in a "Passenger" location or not at the controls of an APT, I think I'd just make a dive for Third Class...It's at the other end of the train, after all!

Suitably equipped with gas mask and googles I trust!
If I had some of those in my possession, I'd probabally want to Googlewhack 'em!

I would shut them up by asking them a question from middle school exams. Seriously, they seemed so dull, and I'm not saying that to prey on old Irish stereotypes either.
