91119: Returns to service and in Swallow livery too!

The buffers rotate 90 degrees in their retracted position, which is unusual to see as it's only used when the loco is propelling push-pull stock nose first, i.e. back to front. Passenger class 90s also have this feature, where it used to be more commonly visible.

I imagine they just forgot to turn them. Tbh you only really need them extended if using the screw coupling, which as all Mk1, Mk2, Mk3 & the outer ends of Mk4 sets have buckeyes, can't be that frequent other than on freight workings.

I don't wish to stifle your creativity but that is horrendous. A real Frankenstein’s monster.

There isn't going to be a fleet relivery. One in real InterCity Swallow livery is sufficient.

Saw one on the buffers at Leeds like that once, it wasn’t an InterCity swallow, though the effect was good (wing still outstretched) it was no good for the poor swallow.

The loco is very noisy if you're near it so it may make you jump as it changes from neutral to drive. And just as an FYI to save you a long walk, the loco is always on the country end I.e. not pointing to London

It should be working 1S15 the 11:30 Kings X - Edinburgh.
