Having scanned all 34 pages, I can’t see any reference to vehicle numbering. Does anyone know the number series for the individual carriages for both 745s and 755s? Thanks
Does make you wonder doesn't it? Hard Brexit could throw another spanner in the works. Just imagine the import tax on that lot.The last time they tried to get a 755 here, got stopped at German border, seems they are trying again this week at some point, although now they have 2 755's !![]()
Such a tasteful and effective livery - a variation of this white/grey/red theme should be adopted as a national generic branding for all English franchises in a similar way to the Saltire Scottish theme. Not only would this unify the system, but would avoid all of the constant rebranding when franchises change.First photos of a full length 12 car FLIRT shown here; https://railcolornews.com/2018/11/0...-in-the-world-12-car-unit-for-greater-anglia/

it's possible that the width is restricted a little by the lower floor in the centre of the carriages. It is noticeable that the power modules in the bi-modes are wider, higher up.
Various reasons for this but yes the first two units are now making their slow but steady way across Europe.
Bear in mind that the leading vehicles are 20m long. That therefore negates the shorter vehicle argument in some ways. There would be little to no point making the shorter intermediate vehicles wider as it would make the whole thing look ridiculous. The PP is wider partly because it has to be but also because you can afford to make it wider without ruining the lines of the rest of the train too much.

It's not inconceivable that the losses incurred by such issues would lead to premature cancellation of some franchises. Anglia is probably a bit too soon to be affected but it could certainly cause problems for Wales and the next SE / EM franchises.
Which port in Switzerland do you suggest that they load from?Surely they would just come by boat and avoid the taxes of the countries the trains would pass through if they came by land?
I'm crying here.Which port in Switzerland do you suggest that they load from?![]()
According To Marine Traffic https://www.marinetraffic.com British naval vessel 'HMS Diamond' is in port in Basel tonight
Could be an AIS fault - but that is what shows up
Given a Type 45 is around 30m tall, and the commercial vessels on the Rhine are designed for a 6m air draft, I'm going to suggest there's a bug there.According To Marine Traffic https://www.marinetraffic.com British naval vessel 'HMS Diamond' is in port in Basel tonight

This looks promising, 0Z97 from Norwich to Dollands Moor tomorrow morning. First Stadler arriving tomorrow?

I think this might be somewhat more promising...
