You lucky people, I'm still waiting to have a date confirmed for the first assessments. Starting to think I have upset somebody now :)

Hello mate. I got a out of our office reply from Marie perrygrove saying she’s back in on Wednesday 23rd May. So hopefully you should hear something then!

For your peace of mind, the recent Derby and Nottingham Depot Driver recruitment drive was split into two as well.
I was in an initial group who started their assessments in October, then the next group started assessments in January.
Both groups have now completed their assessments and are in Talent Pools if successful. Don't panic, I'm sure your turn will come! :)

Thanks a lot for those replies. They have certainly put my mind at rest. Just have to keep being patient. The good thing is the wait will enable me to find out even more about the recruitment process.

Did you hear anything regarding your DMI results? It took about a week for me to hear.

I heard back the next day saying I got through but I’m not sure if it was sent by mistake cause some of the email was missing and the attachment she said was missing too.
What did yours say?

Congratulations! I passed the DMI also. Might be worth giving them a call tomorrow if you think you’re missing some info, I believe there is Stage 2 psychometric testing happening this week.

Nice one mate. It did say the test is in Nottingham on Wednesday 6th but haven’t got an exact location yet. Did it say where and when it was for your stage 2 testing?

I’ve had exactly the same info as you by the sounds of it.

Well I’m more confident that the email was genuine now lol. Extremely nervous about the mmi for next week. Don’t know how I manage to pass the DMI!

I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I sat the MMI previously with a different TOC and the DMI I sat last week felt like a more intense version of the MMI. Have a look online for the typical six questions you’ll be asked and do a bit of prep (make sure you use the STAR method) and it won’t be much different to the DMI you did. I found that knowing the RSSB non-technical skills was very helpful too. Hope it goes well for you!

Thanks for the advice! The DMI felt very intense but then again I’ve never been very good during interviews, do you know if it’s just one person during the mmi or will there be a couple in there?

It was only one person when I did mine, I think it is usually just one person but I’m not 100% sure on that.

Don’t suppose you’ve heard where the stage 2 assessments are gong to be held yet? If not I might need to contact Marie.

If your assessment is in Nottingham it could be at jury's Inn hotel right next to Nottingham station. It was for my stage 2 in April anyways....free buffet as well :)

Hilton Hotel in Nottingham (next to Victoria Bus Station) was used for mine just before Christmas, so that may be a possible location too. :)

I can't wait mate! It'll be your turn to start before you know it, too! :D

Good luck to everyone here who is about to sit Stage 2! :)
Cheers. Hopefully get a response back today giving us a location. I’m already nervous as it is haha

Great news, congratulations! You’re more than welcome! So are you in the talent pool now?
I am yes. There was only two of us for the stage 2 testing and he was saying there is two places for Leeds. I would imagine you would be first and then it’s either between me and the other guy if he passed.
