Well if they are going to have any work done at all i.e repaint, re-trim, LED then it'll be after the Olys are done and I suppose the Tridents lol. But maybe they wont get work, they may be moved on within the next few years.

B10M's recently transferred from Manchester and ones moving around the region will be taking priority at minute in workshops, along with Oly's coming back from chassis inspection. after that, i have no idea what will happen lol. suppose it'll depend on other transfers happening later on, if anything shabby comes to NW, which is usually does!

Lol wouldn't have been surprised if they painted the whole thing while it was in CE. Must have been a while since it had a touch up.

I'm actually surprised ME's B10's haven't had any work done on them in a while bar repairs etc.

20451 was the last one to repainted at easter after an accident at denny beck:D

it'll be the same LED that it had at Kendal and Gillmoss, just set up a little differently. IIRC, those darts have LED displays made by Bright Tech Developments, who have now ceased trading, as opposed to the Hanover Displays ones more commonly found in Stagecoach buses.

The Pointer Darts are very smart vehicles IMHO.

I agree, I always liked the Darts. I think the Dennis Dart/Plaxton Pointer were the better quality buses the Transbus Pointers seemed to lack something and didnt seem as solidly built.

Great to see 30281 gone and Lancaster is now a free B6 zone again after a 5 year infection lets hope they see the light and convert them into bean cans as soon as possible. As far as I can remember all the B6s were horrible things to drive but if I was forced to choose 30277 was the better of MEs allocation.

Not seen much out of the ordinary recently, although 22721 was on the A6 late last night around 01:00 heading for Lancaster 'Dead'

Late night for 22721 what had it been up to I wonder.

Only thing I could think of was the short working late night 40 from Preston to Garstang but I would have thought this was covered by the outstation drivers, or possibly had been in Preston for the day if any extra or shuttle buses had been run for Rock in the park festival in Avenham park.

16672 (I think!) was coming off the M6 at J35 this morning with Not In Service on the LED, but passengers on baord. Perhaps it was either a private charter or that expresser service from Preston to The Lakes.

will have most likely been the X8. Chorley & Preston - Central Lakes :-P
it leaves chorley at 0920, going to Preston for around 0950, then comes up to Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick.
the X7 runs the same on thursdays, but only goes as far as Grasmere.
