Services 12 and 13 to Chantry finished early at around 18.00 due to deteriorating road conditions. Route 15a is still managing to get through as far as Hawthorn Drive. There are also diversions in place on routes 1 and 2.

Lothian buses have NO night buses this weekend, yet somehow FIRST will operate its two Night buses to Edinburgh.
West Oxfordshire (2nd March)
Route 11 - Cancelled.
Route 15 - Initially suspended before trips at 0930, 1130 and 1430 ran from Witney. The last trip of the day was cancelled due to worsening conditions.
Route 19 - Cancelled.
Route 210 - Cancelled.
Routes 213/214/215 - Cancelled.
Route 233 - Witney-Woodstock only on main roads before service was suspended at 1600.
Route 488 - Cancelled.
Route S1 - Double decker service Witney-Oxford with a Optare Solo operated shuttle between Witney-Carterton. The shuttle was suspended at 1600.
Route S2 - Witney-Oxford only.
Route S3 - Woodstock-Oxford only on main roads.
Route S7 - Some journeys ran in the middle of the day.

Ipswich: Ipswich Buses report everything running to full route, except no service on routes 173/174 and 98 (bus may operate as a 97), also 111 only operating as far as Somersham.
Devon:
- Plymouth: pretty much back to normal. Some outer sections of Plymouth CityBus routes still not being served, whilst Stagecoach are not operating route 3 (Plymouth-Dartmouth) yet and the 48 is not going into Wembury. Falcon has resumed operations with an 06.50 departure from Plymouth. First coach to leave Bristol estimated at 10.30, also a 10.16 journey will operate from Cullompton to Plymouth.

Uno gave up yesterday but are apparently running near normal today. But their social media team (person) doesn't work weekends so they haven't been able to tell anyone.

We have been monitoring weather and road conditions constantly, as well as recognising the requirement for many of our customers to reach vital services, especially when this has been extremely difficult over the last few days. We are therefore planning to operate a limited level of services on Saturday 3 March with further details shown below for each area.
Perthshire
We intend to operate to a normal Saturday timetable as best as possible across Perthshire and the Blairgowrie areas today, and will therefore include all the services we were able to run yesterday as well as a number of rural routes. A full list is below, along with any diversions or sections of the routes we are unable to serve. Any updates to this position will be posted here and via our Twitter feed (@StagecoachEScot) throughout the day. Please note that while we continue to assess the road conditions on these routes, the first journeys on these services may not operate, we will endeavour to update as early as possible however.
Most services have been operating to normal timetables today and we expect to be able to run full services on Saturday 3 March in these areas. Any updates to this will be posted on this page and via our Twitter feed (@StagecoachEScot)
We will be operating a Sunday service on most routes in Fife, with journeys operating between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Due to road conditions, some services may be subject to diversions and delays and where any revisions are required they are noted below. A full list of the services operating is shown below, as well as a link to the Sunday timetable and details of the first and last journeys operating today. Please note that the live tracking on our website and app will not operate correctly today due to us running a Sunday service in Fife rather than normal Saturday service, apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

- Service 15/15A is unable to St Fillans at present, service 15 will terminate at Comrie and the 15A will go to Stirling but may have to miss Dunblane station.
- Service 16 will operate but it unable to operate via Errol Grange and Inchture level crossing
- Service 17 will operate as far as Dunning
- Services 23/24/27 will operate full routes although the road routes will be closely monitored throughout the day. Service 23 will serve Bankfoot Prieston Road and rejoin the A9 to Dunkeld and back onto normal route until the road has been gritted
- Service 56 will commence at Kinross P&R at 0734 then via Milnathort before joining the \m90 to Bridge of Earn and Perth, we are unable to serve Glenfarg at this time.
- Service X8 will operate normal route, but is unable to serve Glamis Road, Dundee
- Service X56 will operate as normal to Kinross then operate straight to Ferrytoll P&R then Edinburgh, we will be unable to serve Kelty, or Halbeath P&R at this time
- All services in the Blairgowrie area will operate, (including all services to Perth and Dundee), with the exception of service 58, due to a road closure at Wofhill, and service 71.

We will be operating a Sunday service on most routes in Fife, with journeys operating between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Due to road conditions, some services may be subject to diversions and delays and where any revisions are required they are noted below. A full list of the services operating is shown below, as well as a link to the Sunday timetable and details of the first and last journeys operating today. Please note that the live tracking on our website and app will not operate correctly today due to us running a Sunday service in Fife rather than normal Saturday service, apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

Update @ 09.40:
Reading and Ipswich: no changes from above.
Devon:
- Plymouth: no changes from above.
- Exeter: see post above
- North Devon: route 85 now running, otherwise no significant changes to above.
- Torbay: 12 and Fox operating full route. 22 operating South Devon College - St Marychurch only. Route 31 operating Torquay-Barton Hill but not serving Chatto Road, diverted via Teignmouth Road. No service on other routes as yet.

Bain's Coaches and Central Coaches Ltd don't have social media pages and their websites don't give service updates so i'm unsure what and if any of their services are in operation. I'd highly doubt Centrals 103 is in operations and a number of Bain's routes are likely off too.

Further update @ 12.00:
- Torbay: 12 full route but diverted between Preston and Belgrave Road during the high tide. 22 extended to Dawlish from 11.00. 31 running full route as far as Barton School but not on to Padacre Road. 32 Operating direct from Torquay to Shiphay as roads in Cheston still not passable. 34 operating between Torquay and St Marychurch only, no service to Watcombe or The Willows. Fox running normally. Gold now operating, full route. No news yet on routes 13, 17, 18/18a, 120.
Stagecoach local services in Newton Abbot still suspended, as is route 39 to Exeter - no news on route 88. Route 2 is now operating normally via Sandygate.
Dartmouth local route 90 now has a limited service. No news on routes 3 or X64.
- Exeter: routes J, K, R, S and Park & Rides now normal route. Routes 1/1a/1b nor operating full route except omitting Bradinch. Route 57 now operating through to Brixington with a revised loop working. Routes 55 and 157 operating normally.

Still very limited services in South Wales... nothing in the vale of Glamorgan and very restricted service in Cardiff...
sadly for the residents of Cardiff, Cardiff bus have chosen to put their limited resources into operating services on which NAT compete and which NAT are also operating services today. Seems Cardiff bus will never learn... surely the right approach would be to call a truce and ask NAT to accept their tickets for the duration of the emergency and co-operate to provide buses to as many areas as possible?

Very poor, on Thursday most if not all operators in West Yorkshire were accepting others tickets and its even been known in the past for the war between Transdev and Connexions to be set aside and them to accept each others tickets, to the extent of Connexions X1 being allowed to use Knaresborough Bus Station from which it is normally barred due to lack of capacity.

I doubt it was shortage of resources. Vale of Glamorgan bore the brunt of the weather.
Amendments to above:
- In the event route 22 was not able to operate through to Dawlish and is continuing to terminate at St Marychurch.
- Route 46 (Torquay-Exeter) is now operating.
- Route X64 now operating between Exeter and Totnes - still no service to Dartmouth.
- Now partial service on Newton Abbot local routes 70 & 77, sticking to main roads. No service to Buckland. No service on route 88 (Newton Abbot-Totnes)
- Exeter route 57 now normal route throughout, including Brixington. Route T to Topsham also operating.

from what I understand Cardiff Bus had a shortage of drivers due to the adverse conditions... however they chose to only operate the same routes as NAT... the question is why did they do so when other routes would also be passable? eg Baycar 6 is a totally flat route... but no service.. strangely no competing NAT service only. My point is that with the adverse conditions you would have thought that Cardiff bus would have cooperated rather than compete to give as many residents as possible a service. However as we all know Cardiff Bus has a history and reputation for over aggressive {and even illegal} competition.... seems they have learned nothing

A question worth putting to Cardiff Bus (and Council, seeing as they are the owners and supposed to be democratically accountable to the public).
Next door here in Newport, NAT weren't operating, Stagecoach were running the 50 to Caerphilly and X24 to Cwmbran and Newport Bus as follows

Reading Buses & Ipswich Buses: all services back to normal, and as the weather has turned milder in the South and east of England no further disruption is expected.
Devon:
- Plymouth: all services (Plymouth CityBus and Stagecoach) now operating full route, except route 3 (Plymouth-Dartmouth) is not operating at all and route 48 is not operating into Wembury.
- Barnstaple & Exeter: most services as per earlier reports. Most services are expected to be back to normal tomorrow, including route 6 between Bude and Exeter.
- Torquay: 12, 31, 32, 34, 46 all now full route. Gold full route except not serving Higher Westonfields (using A385).
Route 22 is still curtailed to St Marychurch. I don't know what the problem is with the A379 road between St Marychurch and Teignmouth, but from tomorrow a shuttle bus service will operate between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren, to the same timings as the normal service.

well that seems a more reasonable conclusion than the alternative... that the ONLY bus routes the council gritters cleared are routes on which the bus companies compete....

Arriva MK withdrawing service today from 7pm, which is totally unnecessary as the main roads are now usably clear and good for 50mph (limit 60/70) in most places.
Much of it has melted today, the lot will easily be gone by Monday if not tomorrow.

Demand will be quite low so probably so. A lot of people aren't going out because the estate roads look really bad, but once you're off them it's fine.
Swindon's buses ran largely unaffected over the last three days apart from some minor re-routings due to local road conditions. Yesterday and Thursday (the days of the heavy snowfall) most were running half empty!

well here in south wales it's probably got something to do with the fact that the temperatures have dropped once again and with the thawing that's taken place today there is a significant risk of black ice... I've hit black ice in my car before... and I certainly wouldn't like to try ice skating with a bus! also I've had a fresh fall of snow in the last couple of hours here in my part of south wales... another good reason for taking the buses off early...
and don't forget the drivers have to get home after their shift...

if you intend going out don't be fooled... just because the air temp is above freezing and it's raining doesn't mean to say there won't be black ice... the weathermen have been warning about this for days... because the ground is still frozen then rain can freeze on contact with the ground and form black ice....
