Ipswich: conditions gradually improved, with routes 15/15a and 92 and most of the curtailed/diverted town routes restored to their normal routes around 15.00. There will be no departures from Tower Ramparts after 21.00 tonight.

Reading: heavy traffic continues to delay services and there are a few sections of route that are not now being served:
- route 1 staying on A4 between Thatcham and Newbury and omitting Turnpike Estate
- route 5 staying on Northumberland Avenue and omitting Corbridge Road area
- route 16 terminating at Purley Post Office and not operating into Purley Village
- route 22 terminating at Caversham Centre and not operating to and from Caversham Heights
- route 25 not operating between Sonning Common and Peppard Common
- Kennections route 3 not serving Inkpen

Stagecoach North Scotland would like to advise customers of disruption to bus services due to the severe weather conditions. This page will be updated throughout the day with any disruption to bus services.

We recommend to allow additional time for travel as we are expecting services to be delayed due to road conditions.

Aberdeeen Union Square Bus Station has now fully repoened, all services that are operating will depart from their usual stances.

Aberdeenshire
All services in operation with the following exceptions.
Service 41/105/107/119/248/253/273/290/291/308/422 are suspended until further notice.
Service 49 at 08.05 will not operate.
Service 747 at 09.25 and 10.31 will not operate
Service 51 at 1215/1315/1424 will not operate.
Services in Inverurie/Kemnay/Alford are subject to delay this morning due to road conditions around the depot.
X20/421 - unable to serve Monymusk.
Service 220 will not serve Hillside.

Deeside
We are unable to serve Braemar, buses will terminate in Ballater. We won't be serving Woodside Road in Banchory. Lumphanan and Torphins are unable to be served today.

Buchan
All services operating out of Peterhead and Fraserburgh have been suspended.
Services between Peterhead and Fraserburgh are all suspended.
Fraserburgh town/Ellon town/Peterhead town have all been suspended.

Moray
Service 35 is in operation however will be unable to stop on Duff Street, High Street or Skene Street, Macduff. Passengers should use stops on Barnhill Road or the depot.
All services are in operation on their full routes but subject to delay due to road conditions.

Highlands
All services are in operation but subject to delay due to road conditions.
0530 - X98 Tain To Brora will not service Dornoch and just stick to the A9
0612 - 25U will Commence at Kildary at 0705 (this service will not service portmahomack, seaboards, Hill of Fearn, Arrabella, Milton Village or Inverbreckie Drive)
0645 - 62D service to Lairg will not operate
All 24/30C/62 services are suspended untill further notice
0602 - 25x will not service Milton, Inverbrekie
Service 31 will terminate at Glenmore until further notice.
All services using the A99 between Wick and Dunbeath have been suspended until further notice.
Service X99 is suspended for the day.
Service X98 dep Brora at 1044 will not operate. Service will commence again from Brora at 1116.
Service 81 and 82 will operate, but with delays.
Service 80 is running,. but on main roads only.

Orkney
Services are in operation but subject to delay.

In the Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch conurbation Yellow Buses and morebus gave up this afternoon as the snow got slowly deeper and gridlock started.

All services from Stagecoach's Exeter Depot were also suspended this afternoon. Plymouth Depot has withdrawn all routes except the Park-and-Ride services and a limited service on route 2 between Elburton and St Budeaux (Tamar Bridge) only. However a few buses did stay out on Torquay's route 12 (Newton Abbot-Torquay-Paignton-Brixham) after all.

Plymouth CityBus has suspended several of its hilly outer sections of route and is now concentrating on main roads only, with maintaining a link between Derriford Hospital and the City Centre a priority. Very restricted services will operate tomorrow (Friday 2nd March).

Most Stagecoach services in North Devon are continuing to operate as this part of Devon is not as badly affected by the weather conditions. Route 6/6a (Exeter-Bude) is not operating and route 155 is operating between Barnstaple and South Molton only with no service to Tiverton and Exeter.

One of those 12s was featured for a moment on local TV news, where the cheerful driver said he was coping, but running about an hour late!

Down here in West Cornwall, we have a flood warning on the south coast for high tide tomorrow a.m. to go with stormforce wind and the approx. 9-10 inches of snow in my garden (sorry, don't do cms).

First Essex had temporarily suspended all services from various depots today. It was around 11am when I overheard that Chelmsford depot had stopped all of its services. Hadleigh, Colchester and Basildon had already shut by then. By late afternoon services were slowly getting back to normal across the county.

Devon: Stagecoach South West also pulled its North Devon services yesterday evening. This morning there is a very limited service out of Plymouth Depot on the park-and-ride services, on route 1 as far as Roborough, and on route 2 between Elburton and St Budeaux only - nothing else. Nothing operating out of Exeter, Torquay or Barnstaple Depots this morning. Plymouth CityBus ran its last services from the City Centre at 22.00 last night, and has a very limited service on selected main roads within the City from 05.30. Route 12 is operating as far as Callington and routes 70/70a are terminating at Torpoint, HMS Raleigh. UPDATE: limited service just commenced operating in Barnstaple on routes 10/10a, 11a/11c and 19, and on route 21 between Barnstaple and Braunton (West Meadow Road) only.

Ipswich: Ipswich Buses are running all town routes this morning, with some delays. Country routes are mostly operating, but 94a, 111,and 173/174 remain suspended and 97 had a late start. 93/94 not serving Capel St Mary.

Reading: Reading Buses kept most services going last night, although terminated the 4/X4 at Loddon Bridge for a while due to road conditions in Wokingham and Bracknell. A return X4 to Bracknell and back did leave Reading at 22.00. This morning everything is operating, with some delays. Route 1 is staying on the A4 between Thatcham and Newbury, and route 5 is missing out Corbridge Road. Route 4 is currently not serving Southern Industrial Estate in Bracknell - because a car is blocking the bus-only road!

• Service 7 is now operating approx every 30 mins between Leven, Glenrothes, Victoria Hospital and Kirkcaldy, from 1600 and every 30 minutes thereafter following this route - Leven Bus Station, Glenlyon Road, Windygates Road, Milton Bypass, Glenrothes Bus Station, Preston Roundabout, Redhouse Roundabout, Gallatown Roundabout, St. Clair Street, McKenzie Street, Overton Road, Cairnie Street, Hayfield Road, Victoria Hospital, Lauder Road, Wilson Avenue, Hendry Road, Bennochy Road to Kirkcaldy Bus Station. Return journeys will follow the same route and depart Kirkcaldy bus station at 15 minutes past and 45 minutes past the hour.
• Service 37 is operating from Glenrothes bus station to Cadham and Collydean every 30 minutes from 1500, until 1900 this evening. The route is unable to serve Thornton and is operating to main roads only
• Service 39A is operating from Glenrothes bus station to Kirkcaldy bus station, until approx 7pm this evening, departures at 1505, 1535, 1605, 1635, 1705, 1735 (return journeys all 30 mins later). The route is unable to serve Thornton.
• Service 39A will also operate a circular between Glenrothes bus station and Leslie, every 30 mins from 1515.
• Service X37 is operating from Glenrothes bus station to Kirkcaldy until approx 7pm this evening, with departures every 30 mins from 1500 until 1800 (return journeys all 30 depart mins later)
• The JET747 will operate from Dunfermline bus station at 1835, 2005, 2340, 0135, 0305 this evening(/early tomorrow) serving Hospitalhill, Queensferry Road, Rosyth and Ferrytoll P&R to Edinburgh Airport and the same in the return direction. We are unable to serve Halbeath P&R or Inverkeithing rail station at present therefore all normal arrival/departure times for Halbeath will instead be at Dunfermline bus station.

Perthshire

We are still experiencing some difficulty but are implementing the following:

Service 38 we are in the process of running a half hourly service between Polmont Lathallan Roundabout and Stirling. Buses are being sent out from the depot to commence this just now.

Service 6 we are attempting to run an hourly service between Falkirk Asda and Forth Valley Hospital however we will not be serving Carronshore and Larbert Glenbervie Drive.

- Exeter: route 2 only operating to Dawlish and last bus will depart Exeter at 17.36; Matford and Honiton Road Park & Rides and service on routes A (High Street-Cowick) and H (Cowley Bridge - RD&E Hospital) with last buses from High Street around 19.00. No other services operated today. UPDATE: Exeter services now finishing around 17.30 due to worsening weather and 17.36 departure to Dawlish now cancelled.
- Barnstaple/North Devon: service on routes 10, 12 and 21 (Bideford, Heywood Roundabout-Braunton, West Meadow Road only) with services finishing around 19.00. No other services operated today.
- Torquay/Torbay: no services operated today.

Plymouth CityBus: most services within Plymouth are operating normally with just a few sections not served. 20/20a not operating beyond Plympton. Go-Cornwall services: 11 operating with last bus from Plymouth to Padstow at 18.40, 12 operating, 70/70a now operating full route on the Rame peninsula. Routes 72-79 did not operate today but it is hoped these will operate tomorrow.

Ipswich: most Ipswich Buses routes are running normally. Last buses will depart Tower Ramparts by 21.00 tonight.

Reading: most Reading Buses services are operating normally, with the following exceptions:
- route 1 not serving Turnpike Estate in Newbury (it is serving the Community Hospital)
- route 4 journeys not able to serve Bracknell Southern Estates; all journeys operating as route X4 via Western Road.
- route 5 not operating via Corbridge Road
- routes 15 and 15a not operating via Dee Park Estate
- route 22 not operating between Caversham Library and Caversham Heights
The Spencers Wood-Mereoak free shuttle bus is operating, but Stagecoach route 7 that it is meant to be connecting with is not running as the buses cannot get out of Aldershot! Passengers can connect with Reading Buses Greenwave services to and from Central Reading.

Routes 72-79 did not operate today but it is hoped these will operate tomorrow.

I have little faith we will see a 73 tomorrow along the normal route. This was the road through Duloe a couple of hours ago. I don’t see that clearing overnight!

Some services are running, but a large number of areas/towns (Faifley/Duntocher, Summerston, Robroyston, Drumchapel, Mountblow, Balornock/Barmulloch & Helensburgh to name but a few) are still inaccessible to buses. Not sure on the service frequency of the routes that are running, though one assumes that it's much reduced.
