Got an invite to the assessment centre today on 21st February.I have passed all the tests including the extra ones GTR do,with enchanced pass marks.Do they do role play on the day or have line manager interviews on the day?

I never had a role play on either of my assessment days

Passed my assessment and now have a MMI to look forward to.
That was tough and I am so glad I did lots of practice.

Out of my 2 friends at work who also applied, one got the "no thanks" email and the other one has still not heard.
I received a phone call from HR,saying that I didn't have to sit the assessments,as I had passed them previously to their standard and they would contact me by post in March with a date for my DMI.

Have you done your DMI already?
No mate...

I've answered the 6 questions they gave us with a brief answer and did the Situational Judgement Test. These are for my MMI

My DMI will happen after or when I pass the MMI

I was under the impression they stated that the DMI would come before the MMI; did you receive the HPI email?

Thanks for the reply mate. I've emailed them asking for feed back but had nothing from them, I don't work on the railway at the minute I've heard people say that to be a driver you have to already work on the railway, is this true? I'm currently a firefighter looking to change carriers.

I'm starting a career with EMT as a depot driver then moving into mainline and I was NHS. Lots of people come into driving from other careers, it's definitely not the case that you need to be in the industry.
Good luck!

There's been a number of firefighters who've joined GTR as Trainee Drivers. Some with quite long service.
There's at least four that I know of in training at the moment!

You cant apply for two depots, so they close one down, so at the moment your other one should Still be live.
Oh ok thanks mate I didn't know that. When I look on my login the progression bar that shows where you are in the process has disappeared but I've recived no email either way? The progression bar had said application submitted but has now gone. But have had an email for cricklewood saying is failed.

So has the bar disappeared for both, or did you have just one bar.

Sorry I explained that poorly, I had a progression bar next to both jobs for cricklewood and horsey. And I received an email saying that I had not been successful for the job at cricklewood and then the progression bar next to that job disappeared, that was about two weeks ago. Then I checked my log in the day before yesterday and the the progression bar next to the horsey job had also disappeared but I've received no email to say I've failed?
