319361 and 319450 went to Wolverton recently, so I'd say it'll be one of those two.

That is correct, Northern lease 319361-371/374-386 and 319424/431/434/442/448/450/456/458.

There will however be eleven Class 769 units, but I personally don't think the extra three 319/4 units which are being converted for Northern on top of the eight they have already leased will join the fleet before they're converted into 769s.

No, I don't believe any of the 2 cars have got the new livery yet. There has been a few that have got the mods and have come back in the old livery.

The 158/7s that are coming back from Kilmarnock at the moment have not exactly had a lot done to their interior either, simply been reupholstered and the grab handles on the seats painted yellow from my recollection.

The one I went one hadn't even been reupholstered. Doesn't really surprise me, it isn't as if Northern care about the condition of their trains!
The contrast between the interiors of EMT and Northern is quite stark!

The reason is that Northern have decided to replace the seats as well on the 158s and 156s, after the first 3 158s were completed, so it has been decided that it isn't worth upholstering them as the new seats should be on the way soon.

They are also running out of time to get their fleet PRM modified by 31/12/19, so putting sets through just for PRM work now (and leaving the refurb element til later) is actually very sensible.

Still odd how they haven't replaced the seats with recovered ones from the 319's that have gone of lease. Come on Northern, Long Marston isn't that far away!

At a guess, if the work is compulsory as part of the units maintenance cycle then it has to be done regardless of future plans.

Logically, the most recently overhauled ones will be the last ones to go.
