All services are stopped at the moment just north of Peterborough after a loss of power I believe the service which has lost power from the wires is 1D30

On the 1945 Leeds to Kings Cross and not moved for about 30 mins. This is 1A50 I think.

Kings Cross thunderbird is on its way just approaching Sandy now

Driver of 1D30 has reported a big bang followed by a total loss of power so it looks like it has tripped out all the lines with only Diesel's passing for now

I've been stood at Grantham on board 20:30 York to Kings Cross (ex Edinburgh) for last 45 minutes. Thank God for night tube tonight

Was on the 1815 from Leeds, arrived at Kings Cross a few minutes early, so must have just missed any possible trouble.

2 HST's to Leeds and 3 or 4 Nottingham sprinters at Grantham whilst I've been here. Up to 70 minutes now.

Does that mean OHL damaged or just the locos pantograph? About 3rd time this year I've been stuck on ECML due to OHL damage

1930 kIngs cross to Bradford..minus a pan :( GBRf and DBC are being approached to see if they have any locos that can be used to rescue trapped trains

66760 and 761 pulled up next to us at Grantham with a mineral train and think there's a DBC 66 ahead of us stuck as well. Decoy and Pboro TMD should have spare locos about

There'd already been a 66 rescue this evening at Doncaster when the 17:30 Kings Cross - Newcastle expired just south of the station. Not a good day for VTEC

There's a 1Z99 just left Grantham heading towards the general direction of the breakdown, has that been sent to assist in the recovery of the broken-down train?

Could be 760 or 761 then. There the only locos at Grantham other than our train

Is there a glitch atm with OTT? It shows 633S a diesel hauled (according to RTT timing loads) freight train as being in the area of the breakdown but RTT shows that train as having arrived at its destination of Peterborough West Yard approx an hour ago

https://traksy.uk/live/M+23+SPALDNG+-18 is showing it there as well. Could be a glitch in the Network Rail feed. I'd say it's more likely that it has been matched up wrong in RTT and actually is where it claims to be on the map.

A 225 has pulled up next to us at Grantham. It's got Kings Cross on window labels so looks like it has come back on it self

Looks like a couple of southbounds which were stuck have reversed back to Grantham not sure what the next plan is all available HSTs and Thunderbirds are making to the area where the trains are trapped

I guess I'm on the 00:50. They're trying to fit no train onto here, 3 worth on here and it is full and standing

It seems like there is "severe disruption" on the ECML at least once a week at the moment.

I thought trains were meant to be evacuated if they were stuck for so long with no hope of moving anytime soon? I saw a tweet suggesting that 'they' (1D30?) Were expecting to be stuck for the night...
