33169 was on Harrington & Seaton services this morning. the marshall body suits the LED display!!! 47024 was also on those routes, along with either 33167 or 33168.
20761 on X4.
20779 done the morning Cockermouth X5 and then Sl Ltd.
47060 on Moorclose Circular 50.
47023 on Moorclose Circular 51.
20763 had a dead display and had boards in window for 30 this morning.
20134, 20759 and 25225 joined 3 enviro 300's on the 31.
20764 and 14233 on school work this morning.
14257, 14258 and i think a K reg oly on school work this afternoon.

when i got back, 33169 and 47024 were both on annexe, and 40651 was out on Harrington 46A.


i have attached the excel version of the fleet list i attached yesterday in PDF format. the only difference between the 2, is that the excel version shows the type of destination display the bus has, although it isnt up to date lol, as mbonwick pointed out yesterday :-P

Had a read of Buses magasine in WHSmith today, here's the bits I can remember
(Obviously this is P12 stuff)
16351 has moved to Preston from Carlisle, this has allowed 13296 to go into reserve.
20309 and 20725 have moved from reserve to Frenchwood (I think?), until MAN 18.240s arrive from Fife to make the 16 all low floor.

Had a list of repaints up until the point where the OFT investigation stopped them.

47759(?)/60/2 etc etc (Preston Bus) are to be fitted with LEDs and assault screens before reallocation (Frenchwood/Deepdale, they're staying in Preston AIUI)
47475/6 etc have moved elsewere.

47003/4/16/17 etc in reserve.
34079 in reserve, planned to enter service at Lillyhall.

Noted on an e mail 20769-71 noted travelling south past Preston together, were these not at Lilyhall in store???

16447 failed on High Street in Workington, guessing it was running Whitehaven 300.
fitters apparently turned up, had a look, then drove off, leaving the driver with 16477.
i wonder if its maybe a Pickthall job!

47016 on annexe at Lancaster bus station this afternoon and later seen on the 66 University safe bus. 30277 still around but looks like its been worked very hard swapping and changing between services this afternoon.

Everything else normal around Lancaster as far as I could see.

Nah! my guess would be Ensign Bus, thats where all the other B10s are being sold

the 56 reg darts are still used when in service lol. 35247 was on yesterday. 2 B10Ms today with versa and 3 enviro 300's

I saw 47016 parked on the annexe, and 30277 on stand 12, when I drove pass the Bus Stn at about 3.30pm

Not been in Kendal today, so I don't know what been happening.

theres rumours rather than news hahaha.
rumours i've heard being ALX400's from Chorley when they get Enviro 400's for the 125 / 126.

There are also an unknown number of other buses due to arrive, as Stagecoach in Preston are currently purchasing some new Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s, new Optare Versas and some used Dennis Darts. They are also transferring some Optare Versas and Volvo B10Ms from Lancaster. But at the time of Stagecoach's purchase of Preston Bus, there were 22 Enviro 400s and 24 Dennis Darts. Stagecoach in Preston only owns one Optare Versa, mainly used on Fylde Coastliners or the service 3. Some of the former Stagecoach in Lancashire Optare Solos, a total of 50 vehicles including those branded as "Preston Citi", have also been added to the fleet. This is in addition to the 47 Solos owned by Preston Bus before the time of purchase.

Oh dear, where to start?
1. SC aren't gonna buy used Darts, they'll transfer them from elsewhere in the group
2. I highly doubt that Lancaster will lose its Versas, or any B10Ms unless replacements arrive (that's for the B10Ms).
3. SC Preston have 1 ex-PB versa, yes. But the other ones that SC Lancashire have at Fleetwood make regular appearances....

Earlier on M Bonwick wrote that he had seen in Buses Magazine that MANs from Fife were going to Preston. I seem to remember that a little while ago now, somebody wrote that this was not going to happen. Do people think Buses Magazine is a reliable source of information and that this transfer will therefore happen?

May not have been Fife pickles, it certainly mentioned West Scotland and Fife in close proximity so it could be either.
