That managed to end up in Sheffield! It was on the front of the 22:11 SHF-MIA. LOCKED OUT. I was rather unimpressed!
Anyone got the whereabouts of the interior refurbs today?
185101 is on Cleethorpes services currently heading for Manchester as the 09:26 from Cleethorpes.
185150 doesn't appear to be out.
185133 is back out of Ardwick, presumably in new colours. Looks like '121 is in Ardwick now so it should just leave '110 and '118 still in the dynamic lines.

What about 141 and 145? Were these reported as being done?
...why?
TPE will start to fit new LED headlights to the 185's soon, meaning that with the new light configurations both headlamps will illuminate instead of one headlamp and one marker.
Also, the fleet will start to be named soon. All class 185's to be named with girl names starting with 144 "Gracie".

As for the naming, no idea why they're going for that, but it's nice to get some more named units on the railways. I presume then that the "flagship" units will also receive names, although perhaps more formal than the system for the 185s (With each class themed of course, for example 8022xx-"City of Leeds" or 680xx-"River Mersey" - certainly preferable to just having things given generic names)

The 68s are keeping their DRS applied names which themselves are recycling some class 50 names...
I thought the plan was for TPE to use the higher numbered 68s that had been delivered in plain blue which, to my knowledge, are unnamed
Never mind all this naming business when are the set numbers going to be reinstated on the cab fronts? At least put the last 3 digits on. It's impossible now to identify a set from a bridge if you're taking a photo of it as speed...... Why were they taken off in the first place when the second raft of refurbs began? 108 and 123 were fine.......
