185101 is on the diagram which finishes off with the 22:00 Airport to Barrow. If everything goes as booked then it looks like it'll be working for Northern tomorrow.

Also 185141 is back out and about today after a week at Ardwick, so I'm guessing it's in the new livery.

I noted it at Leeds this morning in the new colours working the 0936 service to Manchester Piccadilly so it's on the Hull route all day

We have just swapped it out and it will finish work at York depot tonight.

General rule at the moment is that it won't appear on any Northern diagrams.

Is it the intent that Northern will never get a refurbished unit? I presume that would make planning increasingly complicated as more units reenter service.

To be honest it's not exactly difficult as we have 51 units and only 3 or 4 Northern diagrams.

Surely when all the TPE diagrams are filled with refurbished units, then the Northern diagrams should get them? Or would that cause complaints when the 195s come in?

Well I have been meaning to but there was much consideration over 141 that I held off for a bit!

So we are now as follows (as of 15th August). Just five units are still in old livery: 185110, 185118, 185121, 185133 and 185145.

Units in bold are re-vinyled but unrefurbished
Units in blue are re-vinyled AND refurbished
Units in red are currently being refurbished

Any ideas what might cause a breakdown where the train couldn't move an additional 100m into the station, but after 20 mins appears to move off within no problem?

With 185150 this morning, it was a compressor fault which threw the emergancy brake on. Lost air as a result , full shut down and reboot was part of trying to rectify the problem

Had my first experience of 101 tonight. I was very impressed - the seat felt as though it had more padding and definitely seemed more comfortable - I very rarely get a seat though so it was an absolute luxury.

Pleased to see the route map above the door has also been amended - now includes Man Vic and omits Windermere, Barrow etc.

Can confirm 110 is still in the old livery - was on it this morning.
