Ah! Of course! There is also the Daimler-Benz Museum in Untertürkheim, just the other side of the Neckar from Stuttgart centre. The address is, believe it or not, Mercedesstrasse 100.Well, seeing as how it's Suttgart, the Porsche museum would offer itself as a possibility.
There's also the 'Standseilbahn' funicular. It goes from Südheimer Platz on the U1/U14, and is also part of the city transport system. Unlike the rack line (known as the 'Zacke'), it uses its original wooden-bodied cars.

That would depend on which line the train will take, right ? There is a line on each river bank. Last pictures of the Rhine river lines I have seen show passenger trains on both banks but may be only locals on the right one, I don't know.
