One I would be willing to sign up to, but a quick look at RTT and it seems an overnight stay in London is required for the Saturday due to the northbound Thameslink services only being half hourly stoppers that time of the morning

It runs empty 5Z79 09:10 from Cauldwell to Luton after a staff event to mark the closing of the depot for maintenance on the class 319 fleet and is expected to be the final 319 movement at the facility ( unit goes to Bedford carriage siding on return).

Good news, a tour I can do as it's on a Sunday.

Bad news is that I have colleagues off around that time so I won't get the time off for the Monday as I'll have no chance of getting back to work in time!

There's not enough of interest in this one for me anyway. £49.13 is a weird price, and I don't own a functioning printer so it's no good to me.

There's microgricing opportunities yes, but it's not worth the extreme effort to get over there for it. A shame, but what can you do? I had my own sort-of farewell to the class on TL when I was down there last, but if I do manage to make it down there before 4th June I'll do so again.

Rumour has it the 319s will still have work to do after 4th June due to late running 700 deliveries. Anyone know how true this is?

In the good 'ol days when a class was to be withdrawn, the home depot would go through the effort of sprucing up a unit for its last few weeks of service. What are the chances of Caudwell Depot doing this to a 319...and specifically for the tour?

Sounds like a lot will be stood down at the end of May (i.e. this month) but there will be some working Sevenoaks diagrams for some time yet
