Note to self - read rules properly (it even mentions the Bala Lake Railway).

Could Rule 3 perhaps be amended a bit? Bryn Hynod (opened by the Bala Lake Railway and subsequently closed again) and Llangower (the 1st (Cambrian) station - the BLR station is on a different site) could logically be included, I think)

Not only Rule 3 in its generality, but also the middle part of Rule 8 also comes into being when looking at the matter of stations opened and closed by heritage railways.

Rule 6 covers matters concerning different station sites, when distances are not deemed great, but quite long nonetheless, saw both the first stations of Llandudno Junction and of Prestatyn being allowed some time ago and indeed, having at one time been use as named examples as embargoed stations in the section of Rule 6. Incidentally, the queried 1st station site of Llangower above is one that seems to be covered by Rules 3, 6 and 8. Llangower station as an entity was opened on 10th June 1929 and closed on 18th January 1965 and was then reopened by the Bala Lake Railway on 15th September 1972.
