North Rode

From close inspection of the maps I think Macclesfield Hibel Road was just north of (but very close to) Beech Bridge, therefore would have been listed first - I am assuming Rule 4 applies.

Newly updated rules effective from December 2016

Rule 3

Any station that was opened then closed by a heritage railway is NOT allowed on this quiz (This is also stated in Rule 8). NOTE...Any very small reopened narrow-gauge heritage railway operation such as the Rudyard Lake Railway with stations are to be ignored and the original standard gauge station(s) are deemed to be allowable on this quiz, but this is not the case where such reopened narrow-gauge railways on former standard gauge lines are of a good mileage, such as that of the Bala Lake Railway, where the original stations are not allowed to be named on this quiz.

I show the above extract of Rule 3 of the quiz in answer to the query raised about the Rudyard Lake Railway.

We appear to have missed the station of Cliffe Park earlier

Cliffe Park was the alternative name for Rudyard Lake (the station at the northern end of the lake) so called after 1926 when the LMSR changed the name of the station at the southern end from Rudyard to Rudyard Lake. So we didn't actually miss one out!

I suppose that it was mention being made of the lake narrow-gauge railway there.
