Farage has at least moved on and is now defending Trump's latest scandal Stateside.

Which one? The latest I've heard about are the release of tapes of Trump with 'shock jock' Howard Stern, dating from about 2000 to 2010, in which he even discusses his own daughter in sexual terms. The Republicans may yet move to have his name removed from their accreditation as Presidential candidate, possibly as soon as tomorrow after the latest 'debate'.

I'm not very good at anagrams, but looking at those letters a combination of the names Trump and Farage might offer comic potential.

They can't. Early voting has started in some locations and many states have passed the cutoff date for changing the candidate.
