Last Tuesday I had a very important meeting first thing at work.
Trains run every 15 minutes from my station which is on the Thameslink network.
If I took the train at time t and it runs on time, I would arrive in office on time.
I decided to take the train at t - 00:30, and got to the station only to find that it was cancelled.
The train at t - 00:15 was "delayed" and no arrival time was shown at time t, 15 minutes later. The train at t was also cancelled.
At this point I realised that I would not be able to make it to office on time, so decided abandon the journey and dial into the meeting from home.
I have a season ticket. Would I still be able to put in a claim for the delay?
