What a shame we didn't alight somewhere in the Manchester area and spend the best part of Sat night / early Sun morning riding around on Manchester's delightful all-night buses. Anyhow, that's just a comment, we're still in Edale (and it's just started to rain!)

That was the last train of the day from Edale, so we call it a night before boarding, 2S12, the 0833 Northern service to Sheffield, arriving there at 0904 on Sunday morning.

It looks like the 1652 departure is a Monday-Friday train. On Sundays the train departs at 1636 and arrives in Hull at 1727 on Sunday afternoon.

Can we take this as the correct time and continue with....

"1153 on Sunday night" needs to be clarified by you. A 24-hour clock is used on this quiz.

No such train in my book - and there are Javelin trains roughly every half hour from 0520 as well as many others.

You shouldn't wait for more than two hours after the first available service (to any destination) has left, after allowing for the minimum interchange time.

After sleeping at the local hotel, we return to the station bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to catch the 0655 Southeastern Javelin service to Stratford International. We arrive at 0729 on Monday morning.
