May I just say hi as I'm new to the forum, if your on RMweb, im Bjmorley - I forgot I had a account on here :o
National Express East Coast
Class 43 : 43039, 43238, 43300, 43302, 43306, 43309, 43312, 43316, 43317
From the route the 47 was taking, I believe 47828 took 43039 for refurbishment at brush as 43239, and 43317 has returned from Brush with a mk.2 barrier vehicle.

I think it'd be better if all the details were together. Would be much easier to see and keep track of the liveries if they all stayed in this thread.

350130 has lost it's black window surrounds, so it is now just silver with blue doors. It took me a moment or two to realise quite what was different!

Err... sorry for not clicking on every link I find :?

I had a quick look and I don't htink you'd been posting much at the time. Thanks for the confirmation pic though. Have to say, the NXEA livery looks really good on the 317s IMO.

Sheesh!! What kind of an excuse is that? ;)

You didn't even have to click through. 505 has been on my siggie line for over a week (though I will concede that it is a bit small to get the number).

323208 due out today; next one due in today or shortly after (presumably 209 unless 206/7 have repaired themselves yet).

if they repaired themselves that would be so fantastic! maybe the chiltern turbo in the paddington crash could repair itself ;)

An update from Wolverton:

323208 should be out and about from today (although may not start diagrammed working until tomorrow). The unrepaired 206/7 stilll not going in, with 209 having gone in on Friday lunchtime apparently.

Time for you EMU gen fans to look like a real bunch of smarty-pants.

Was over IL this evening and spotted an interesting sight over in the far corner of the New Shed. Looking spick and span in it's new livery, StanEx unit 317714. Disappointingly the livery is identical to that already seen on 317505/6, except with the word national replaced with stansted. Not sure when we'll see her out and about, as it seems she's still a work in progress. There are crates of new seat moquette (same as the new Cl315 and Mainline moquette) stacked in the inspection pit on the road where she sits, so it looks like she's getting an internal refresh too. I would have fired off a couple of shots as evidence, but the angles are extremely limited inside the New Shed and anything I'd taken would have shown nothing of interest.

Also, it looks like we might soon be seeing the first Cl315 in the new colours before very long. 315805 had been split and the second half of the unit was in the process of being shunted into "B" Shop to join an anonymous Cl317/5 driving trailer that had already been rubbed down in preparation for the new colours.

^ If they are, my mistake. I presumed they were from the same place for some reason. Anyhoo, it's been repainted :)

Does anyone have any news on the FCC 319 refreshes? Not much seems to have happened recently from what I can tell online.

Well they seemed to be doing slightly less than 1 per week, but I've not seen any changes mentioned here or on the junction in over a month, nor have I noticed any myself.

Also, some have had the new vinyls but not the internal refresh - will these get the internal refresh in time, or are these the trains that were serviced by GoVia?

I'm not sure how frequent they are, but at a guess. Maybe once a week a 319 goes up and another comes down. But by changes, do you mean changes like seat covers and that?

The units with vinyl and no internal refresh will need get the refresh like the other units.
