Why is it beggars always seem to use the excuse that they are x.xx short for the bus/train?
I would have a lot more respect if they were just honest and said 'I'm homeless, can you help?' to which I would maybe provide some food or drink if nearby (I never give money to them as we know exactly where that goes).
One of them made me laugh the other day, he was apparently needing £2.40 to get his train ticket back to Warrington. From Leeds. Think he may have been having to book that one about a year in advance
