New FGW 3 car units, list stock here

Hi all,

I have decided to make this thread in case anyone has any news on what cars are currently done to make 158 950 - 959

Currently I only know one (i know 158 953 is out but no gen on coaches) so I will update this lists as replies come in

I would check the unit numbers, there does appear to be conflict between thejunc and mueg yahoo

Quite. The numbers that I quoted from The Junction web-site appear to be wrong. I saw 158952 today and it appeared to consist of 158762 and half of 158748. Does that agree with the mueg list?

158952 has been split and reformed due to the aforementioned fire. Formation prior to the fire was as listed on the site.

I've been working at Romsey today and initially i didn't understand where there were so many 3 cars running round formed of 2+1, i was thinking "Well that's at least 2 different 3 cars, so there is an extra unit going begging, two good ends and that"
So i checked the unit number of each coach as it passed and all 3 vehicles had the same unit number each time. Then i realised the game

I was on a proper 3 car today, 748? The 52 car was smoking a treat, that'll be an engine change in a few days!

I travelled on 158956 today and it was made up of 158768+57749, another change to the planned formations?
