Congrats bb21 on clearing 2 classes there! Welcome to the club with the 221s, been a proud member for a good long while :)

I anticipate posting a good list on 2nd February, more so from the following two days!

Thanks fellas. The four units/locos in these three classes have all been nightmares for me, so I went for the easy option today, got the gen and planned my day around them. Even so, it was looking impossible to get all four in until a set swap for 91122 occurred at around lunchtime and it suddenly all tied in.

So I guess I can claim that I have cleared all DEMUs now. :D

Another 2 387s in the book, I'm happy with the progress I've made with them already. Brings my total number of 387s up to 10, just missing 387110 of the units currently in service.

Just got back from a week in Devon & Cornwall with the good lady wife.
As is usual on our holidays we made good use of the railway to visit places.
Not a cranking move, but I still managed to get a few winners.
HST power cars 43020, 43026 and 43148 were all roped in, as was 150246.
159006, 159021 and 159022 were also winners on quick St Davids - Central trips whilst we were in Exeter.

Also, for anyone interested in industrial railways and/or history, a visit to Morwellham Quay is recommended (http://www.morwellham-quay.co.uk/).
They have a railway that runs through an old copper mine, using battery electric locos.
We had number 6 "Mary".
The trains don't run every day, so if you fancy going for a run on one, give them a ring first.

We were first in the queue (it was quite busy, even in January) and bagged the bashers seats :)

Maybe one for PLEG and BLS to consider. How many locos do they have ?

Getting close to clearing your 313s then now as well bb21?

A long way away yet lol. In fact I have only just started with the 313s so I am still at the stage where everything turning up is a winner.

So far when I had a couple of hours to kill at KXSP, I had gone for 319s, but with them nearing completion, I have turned my attention to GN units.

Off the top of my head, I think they had about half a dozen locos scattered around.
I don't know if the BLS would be interested, there's a couple of short sidings at the start of the line, plus the one that the trains leave from, then it's a single track through the mine, a short run round loop at the end and then single track back along the banks of the Tamar.
Still, I'm not a BLS type person, so don't know if three very short bits of track is enough to bring people out.

Just to keep it on topic, I also scored 221119, I'd forgotten about that as Voyagers are very much at the bottom of my interest list :)

Your best bet for 313s is to do a peak hour into (or out of) Moorgate - I had a morning peak stood at Drayton Park and Essex Road waiting for my last two sets to appear (which they did!) a couple of years ago. These two stations (and Old Street) are the best for leaping as they are island platforms.

On the subject of Morwellham Quay brought up by 55013, I will alert the BLS Fixtures Secretary, who I know well, to this thread!

21st January:
321326 Shenfield-London Liverpool Street
92118 Liverpool Street-Chancery Lane - New entry - Cleared for 1 mile
92247 Chancery Lane-Liverpool Street - New entry - Cleared for 1 mile
321361 London Liverpool Street-Chelmsford - Cleared for 20 miles straight
321448 Chelmsford-Stratford - Cleared for 100 miles straight - Class record
321302 Stratford-Shenfield

22nd January:
360115 Shenfield-London Liverpool Street
S7 63 Liverpool Street-Farringdon
S8 19 Farringdon-Liverpool Street
321356 London Liverpool Street-Shenfield

23rd January:
357035 Upminster-London Fenchurch Street
7039 Tower Hill-Temple
319004 City Thameslink-Farringdon - Winner - <1 mile
S7 54 Farringdon-Liverpool Street
321306 London Liverpool Street-Shenfield

As much as I'd like to say scoring the 321 demonstrator for 100 miles by detouring via Stratford was intentional, it wasn't. While I might have considered doing it anyway, I boarded the train almost certain that the service would be stopping at Shenfield. Nope!

2015 mileage now at 1044m61c. A fairly unremarkable week really apart from scoring the two 92TS units and a needed 319, albeit for a very short hop.

I haven't even seen one yet :(

Wouldn't mind, but I've been through Farringdon plenty of times since their introduction and have seen a load of 377/2s and /5s but not a single 387 yet. Oh well, plenty of time...

Crikey you were busy! I have a hunch you'll have your 444s cleared by the end of February, based on your recent successes with them!

You're going to have to start coming up to the Midlands I reckon, there won't be much in London for you to get at this rate!

East London Line core section, trains running at tube-like frequencies (one train every 3-4 minutes). Good place to score the DC-only 378/1s as that is the only line they run.

I reckon C2C will be better during the week, where Saturdays is 8 trains an hour, or if you can make it during evening peak 18 trains an hour!. 4 trains an hour on Sundays.

I think I only need 458022 now of the remaining 458/0s which haven't already gone to Doncaster to be turned to 458/5s

Good point, I must remember to hit the ELL when I'm down that way in March. As well as c2c, the number of 357s in my book that are required MUST come down this time. I even need 2 of them for sight, that's how infrequently I visit that area! As well as SWT's empire, so much that I need over there it is unbelievable!

Nice lot of success there bb21, it must be said! You're all making me outrageously jealous lately, I'm just glad I'm down to the final week before I can make a long post on this thread again with my own scores!

315846 Brentwood-London Liverpool Street

S7 63 Farringdon-Liverpool Street
321353 London Liverpool Street-Shenfield

2015 mileage now 1085m58c

Not making any headway on S7s or 321s at this rate sadly! Even today's 92TS was a dud too. Hopefully I'll have better luck with tomorrow's slightly more complex journey.

A slightly frustrating two days spent in the Cardiff area. Getting 142076 means I have now cleared my ATW 142s, and I'm down to 1 ATW 150 now. However my last ATW 150 and last ATW 153 couldn't be tracked down, they must have either been on depot or in West/North Wales.
