It's an old tactic but it works on people of low intelligence - it's meant to conflate opposition to the actions of the Israeli State with hatred for Jews generally and even support for the actions of the Third Reich.
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
We're being ramped up for UK involvement in airstrikes against "ISIL/ISIS".

Let me get this right - ISIL has come from nowhere to have "assets" of $2billion approx, makes $2million per day from "Oil sales" facilitated by Saudi Arabia and Qatar, gets huge amounts of sophisticated Western Arms financed by Saudi Arabia which would not happen without Israeli and US approval and therefore is essentially a Western Intelligence "Construct".

But no, lets ignore all that (easy if you watch the BBC:)), no they desperately wish to be minced by massive US and lackey airstrikes and are (apparently) murdering a US citizen every few days to make sure this happens.

You couldn't get people to fall for that S***e could you?

Oh - they have.

Goodness me. Please don't associate me, as someone who simply would prefer the Government not to read my texts with this tripe.

As I said "Cue the laughter (but never convincing rebuttals)"

There's no point, you're so convinced that what you write is true that you would never even consider the actual truth might be somewhat more boring than you think.

I will bite:

Are they not the group once known as Al-Qaeda in Iraqi? They became very well armed and supported during the 2007 (?) civil war in Iraqi and have recently "acquired" substantial modern arms from both Iraqi forces deserters and by breaking into the state armouries of both Syria and Iraqi.

No no no! The hint is in the balaclavas! They are all CIA operatives, with their leaders prominent Republicans, usually Senators, whose aim is to cause disruption, thus allowing the Neocons to move in to corner Middle Eastern oil. The only world leader to see through this gambit is Mr Putin (according to RT). Do keep up!

Sorry - I didn’t realise I need to invent a massive conspiracy - I should have mentioned swap gas refracting off Venus and Area 51. My apologies.

Who's taking the proverbial now!

Ok Gents let me get this straight.

What you are all saying is that if one believes there may be more to ISIL than meets the eye then it is compulsory to also believe that the Moon is hollow and filled with Lizards?

im just having a joke

If you care to answer DarloRich's post on who he thinks ISIL are because my understanding of who they are was pretty much the same as his . Apart from I thought they where present in Iraq in one form or another since 2003 when the US led invasion during the "war on terror" began .

If they were/are Al-Qaeda in Iraqi they have been there for some time (c.2000) under various guises and names.

Well they are reportedly making around $2m daily from economic activity - in the main selling crude oil - for which they seem to have a measure of co-operation from Saudi Arabia and Qatar who would not be doing this without permission at some level from the USA and Israel. Now I know the next thing is going to be the demand "Sources?". One among many is "globalresearch.org", they have a certain point of view but hey, who doesn't - have a read, and then dismiss it by all means - but have a read.

you do realise they have been selling and trading that oil on the black market in the likes or Syria ,Iran , Jordan and turkey , they dont have the volumes , nor the sophisticated pipeline and refinery network you imagine and would be necessary to trade with the likes of Saudi Arabia and Qatar . its just smuggled in tankers across borders and through regions they and their sympathizers control .

They have control of a very few marginal oil fields in Iraq and trade some of their oil for refined products to use fueling their own war as well as selling in areas of Syria and Iraq that they control .

Why would Saudi Arabia and Qatar with the vast oil resources these countries have be interested in trading with or co operating with a group that controls a small number of marginal oil fields with no real distribution or refinery network ?

If this groups oil trading capabilities grew then that would actually present a problem for the Saudis because this group is selling its oil cheaper on the black market which could lead to smaller demand for Saudi oil in the region . Why would the Saudi government want to co operate with that ?

The people guilty of turning a blind eye to letting ISIL trade oil on the black market are turkey , and if the current rhetoric from the US and our government continues then I could see some pressure being applied there to get them to try and put a stop to it .

But but what about the fact that ISIL is worth a purported $2billion USD I hear you say and how could they do that without the west knowing or consenting . Well to start with this $2 billion in wealth includes the extensive military equipment they have managed to loot both in Syria and in Iraq ,let us not forget that the troubles in Syria have been going on a long time and a lot of Syrian army soldiers have defected to the various rebel movements . then you have the ransoms some western countries have been accused of paying to release their hostages , of course you have this black market oil trading wealth . And you have money from banks they have looted along the way on their campaign .

There is no possibility of wheels within wheels, or that they have a role that is not publicly stated?

But there is no reason for them to have a role that is no publicly stated .

If you are going to argue that someone would have a role that is not public fair enough . But you must at least provide some logic as to why they would have that role . I see logically no reason why Saudi Arabia would have any interest in co operating with the trading of oil from a handful of Iraqs smaller oil fields .

Madness. Utter madness. I give up. Your source is a conspiracy theorists wet dream.

I know i will regret this but................

Even if there were a vast conspiracy what would be the point? What is the outcome the conspiracy is leading us sheep towards? New crusades? A global war with Islam? What?

Well in believing in "conspiracy theories" I'm in good company, Julius Caesar, Benjamin Disraeli, The House Select Committee on Assassinations, Winston Churchill ....:)

Or are "Conspiracies only a thing of the past, none exist now and none will ever exist in the future?

Have you ever heard of the concept of "Pretext"? I think that is at least a possible explanation of current events.

And as for "Why", I honestly don't know, but I'm still interested in asking questions and debating the events.

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/54...opean-passenger-jets-in-Christmas-spectacular

Terrorists are plotting to blow up five European passenger jets in a Christmas "spectacular", security experts say.
The threat has been taken so seriously it came close to leading to an outright ban on all hand luggage, a senior insider has revealed.
Mobile phones and electronic devices could still be banned from plane cabins, with the threat of a 9/11-style coordinated attack on London and other major cities feared imminent.
The warning comes as Whitehall officials admit that a terror strike on the UK is now "almost inevitable" particularly with British jihadis returning from fighting alongside the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

With Al Qaeda being pushed into the background lately this is exactly what experts have been expecting, Al Qaeda need a spectacular to regain their position as no.1 terror organisation.
Looks like a race is on between ISIL and Al Qaeda to be the first to complete a major terrorist outrage.

I suspect this latest "threat" has nothing at all to do with a Tory supporting paper trying to drum up support for their new Internet monitoring scheme which would do sod all to help combat terrorism, but may make it easier to trace media pirates by attempting to close the "it was someone else on my WiFi" defence.

The owners of the Express made their fortune making porn (and still do) and are suffering somewhat from the growth of independent producers selling direct online and from piracy.

Now if the Express's owners were planning to go pirate hunting, then The Express is going to support this legislation and will post stories to encourage support

Well you make suspect that it's all made up and you may also believe that no threat exists from terrorism and nobody is at risk.

You could of course be totally and utterly wrong.

Except it won't. Any device connected to a single wifi network will share the same public IP address. So by getting ISP's to store the details of what ISP a particularity customer was using at any one time could mean you could map certain activity to an internet connection, you still couldn't tell who was actually using it (and it could just as easily be a guy sat in a car outside your house).

And isn't that the joy of quotes from "unnamed security experts" with no substantive explanation of where the threats are coming from and who is behind them.

We don't know if the "expert" has single-handedly inflitrated an al Qaeda splinter cell and stopped a bombing, or whether the "expert" is actually Sid Bonkers of Neasden. Or even whether- shock horror- the journalist has just made the whole thing up to sell a few papers.

If it never happens we don't know why it never happened. Was it made up? Was it stopped by MI6? Who knows (certainly not MI6). If it does happen then, well, if only you'd banned hand luggage like we told you to.

That's what I'm meaning, the government want ISPs to identify the device (and yes I know that MACs are editable) - ISPs are resisting, see also the Will somebody think of the Children stories when the Goverment wanted undesirable websites filtered.

Pretty much. These stories are designed to create fear, fear sells papers and justifies jobs and laws. The only people who really need to know what plots there are and have been foiled are the security services.

I doubt Richard Desmond is short of a few bob as he sold Channel 5 for about £450 Million earlier this year after having purchased it for £104 Million 4 years ago. Seems like quite an astute businessman to me.

Ah yes, funny isn't it how the papers start broadcasting terror levels immediately after the Home Secretary wants to revive the Snooper's charters under a new disguise

I may have to agree with you here. There is certainly information that's making everyone a bit twitchy at the moment.
