I could be wrong, but I am surprised to find trains to Haymarket running out of Stirling BUS station.
Is there a rail platform now installed there ?

The bus station and railway station are next to each other....
We then take the 10:55 VT service to Warrington Bank Quay arriving at 13:39 on Sunday afternoon.
That point I do not doubt, but the last time that I visited Stirling, it took me about four minutes to walk from the railway station to the bus station, where I then caught an onward bus service.
The point that I was making was that the posting that I queried seemed to give the impression that a train had departed from the bus station, as that is where the posting prior to that had arrived at.

We next board the 1652 Arriva North West service 82 to Aigburth (Aigburth Road/Chequers Road) that arrives there at 1712 on Sunday afternoon.
We the board the 1931 Arriva service 53A to Aintree Merseyrail station, arriving at 1952 on a Sunday evening.
What walking distance is it from Great Crosby, St Lukes Road to Crosby railway station that is required to make that last journey ?
0.9 miles so invalid.
