The 365s are also being debranded internally, with stickers, posters etc. having the branding covered up by dark blue stickers.

Looks to me like it was just put up to cover over graffiti. My Metro did the same, a train was heavily graffitied and they just placed big sheets of white vinyl over the top before completely removing the livery.

I wonder how they'll deal with the 365's a they're vinyled with the 'skyline' livery containing the FCC name as part of the vinyl.

Will they completely remove the vinyl, exposing the Network South East livery underneath or will they just leave the vinyl on and put a 'Great Northern' interim sticker over the FCC branding on the day of the changeover which will do until they get round to the unit refresh where the livery changes anyway.

I think the old NSE livery has long be taken off the 365s as I was based at Hornsey for a while when they were originally putting the current FCC livery on them and the workmen were sanding down the NSE livery so I doubt there's anything left of it.

If I remember correctly when FCC first came in, all they did to the 365s was fix a FCC sign to the middle of the coach on the outside and left the then NSE livery as it was.

All that will happen and I'm sure Class 377/5 will be along shortly is the entire Class 365 fleet will be outshopped in the new TSGN livery but the Class 313s, 317s and 321s will probably keep the FCC livery minus the actual branding?

313, 317, and 321 will likely be placed into the TSGN livery grey/blue.

The 313/317s are still expected to go for another 5+ years aren't they? And the 321s still have a good few years before being moved elsewhere - AGA, or Northern, or possibly FGW? - so will also likely be painted or at least revinyled. I bet Govia will do a little work on the stock even if it is just a deep clean and seat recovering, along with being re-liveried.

GoVia always seem to install new station signage (at least since Southern) though I realise the WAGN signage is quite new... Modern signage still welcome though!

I like the 313s that southern have refurbished, which is good because I travel on them all the time!! I for one wouldn't mind having the ex-Moorgate 313s on the coastway if they are refurbished like southern's.

No as until the new trains arrive in 2018 they are required for great northern services as nothing else is cleared

313s get replaced during 2018. 317/321 should be off in 2017 when the first 700s arrives at Hornsey.

That's interesting. I was at Kings Lynn a few weeks ago and noticed that a small piece of vinyl had become detached from one of the cab doors exposing the NSE livery underneath but it looked quite faded.

I guess they will just put a 'Great Northern' sign over the FCC branding in the same way that FCC did when they first started. I suspect the same will happen with the 365's prior to their refurbishment.

According to their presentation, and as discussed earlier in this thread, GTR is the overall 'corporate identity'.

Then there are the 'customer brands' - these are the four known franchise names. I very much doubt the terms GoVia Thameslink Railway or GTR will be used for day to day publicity or announcements.

The 387s (which I'm guessing is what you mean ) have been seen in a white livery with green doors. That's probably because they're being delivered to Southern and subleased to Thameslink. The. 321s and 317s will probably just have the vinyls taken off if they have the purple undercoat and basic branding applied.

The NSE branding on the northern city line is harder to remove because it's physically built into the station design so while some new branding may appear we'll probably only see an end to NSE branding if the stations are fully refurbished.

Overall brand will be GTR as confirmed today by Head of Customer Information (FCC) however I wonder if we shall see services announced/advertised using said branding ie Southern/Thameslink/Great Northern/GatEx???

The separate brandings will be used. The unbranded 319/377 you are starting to see now, will get their "Thameslink" branding fitted from Sept 15th.

Been quite a while since we had new TOC codes. Was the 2007 re-franchising the last time? (XC, EM, LM etc)

The most was cleaned up (and whiter) lighting, a deep clean and a new PA system and screens. Basically all the things you need to do, and suggesting nobody cares about the tiles or signs.

I like those stations, they're stuck in a time warp. Being underground and away from sunlight the fittings have hardly deteriorated, and there's no yellow line either plus the NSE design still looks pretty modern

I've noticed quite a few Class 313s which have lost the First Capital Connect logos which have been running around today, won't be long before the entire GN fleet is done - Wonder how quick they be to get "Operated by GTR" logos though....
