I have a question too, I hope this doesn't come across as me trying to be some back seat driver. Should the driver have driven the train back with the tail lights still on white?

Has anyone seen this video? The driver appears to have overshot the platform and then travels back. Does this happen often?Steve Smith said:A visit to Tamworth on Wednesday 25th June 2014 witnessed a Cross Country driver over-run the station platform by some distance!
The train wasn't exactly going slow either through the station but there was soon a rancid smell of brakes wafting into the air and the train came to a halt just before the signal. After being there some minutes, the video captures the driver walking back to the rear cab, unlocking the door and climbing aboard. He can also be seen on the telephone, presuming to get the OK to reverse along the track back to the station to collect his forgotten passengers!
Eventually after some delay, the Cross Country Voyager heads north again en-route to Glasgow Central.
We even get a wave and a thumbs up from the driver, more than likely in embarrassment than anything else!
Never seen anything like that before. Good job Tamwoth High Level wasn't a terminus!
