Should First take over the 'one' franchise.

One West Anglia: First Capital Connect
One Great Eastern: First Great Eastern
One Anglia: First Anglia

When First grpoup show that they can operate a mixed Intercity/Suburban route like FGW maybe they can be considered for East Anglia.

'one' are the primary operator in that area, as they operate more services through Cambridge than FCC IIRC!

The original point was to discuss a franchise changing hands despite it not being up for renewal for years! It has since changed to a more interesting debate on which types of trains should be classified as InterCity style, so may be worth splitting the topic...

erm, no, we mean actual reasons. It is totaly pointless. First are not a very good company (hence the reason employees often call them Worst Group, orm Last Group.) Nat Ex I find is a very good franchise, who have only had the franchise a month and deserve a fair chance. First used to operate GE unter the First Great eastern franchise and were kicked out because of bad performance any way, so it is unlikely First will ever win this franchise again anyway. However, you can thank your lucky stars it isn't run by Connex eh? :???:
