Do you actually mean 5 people covering it 'at the moment' or 5 people who have this as one of many stories on their pending / in progress pile. Plus ponce you take the producer, cameraman, sound recordist, reporter, and OB satellite truck operator out of it those 5 equate s to-one active Outside broadcast team plus the head of news gathering? (or in most likelihood one of her deputies/assistants - just because an email is sent to her doesn't mean she reads it or has anything to do with acting upon it.)

I'm sure the BBc will devote about 30seconds-1 minute (other news dictating the amount) to the launch of NXEC in their new bulletins this weekend - I wonder what the multiplier for GC will be?

The BBC have already covered the DfT announcment of new franchises
I wouldn't expect any further coverage next week

The launch of new frnchises has (at least where I lived) received coverage of teh enw train in its livery. NXEC have yet to launch their re-liveried train.

m8internet, I am echoing Craig's sentiments on the ECML disruption thread! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrjwaqZfjIY

Grand Central have been given an extension to when they MUST run a passenger service, to
MARCH 2008. I believe however, that we will launch well in advance of that date, given that we are well into our final training runs, gearing up for running an interim service.

The facts are out there!

Yep,cracking lad, good driver as well, had the pleasure of his driving today! :D:D

If i ever seen him, i think i would talk to him, say i seen you on the T.V and also say he supports a real team :D Birmingham City F.C. so is he the sort of person that you can approach and speak to? and not one of these that are so moody (Eg. a few EWS drivers) lol

Was fortunate enough to get myself down to Kings Cross today from York on the 1405 and the 1650 return. Both Valenta's performed superbly and great runs were given by Donny and Peterbrough PSB's.

I just need to cover Sunderland - York ;)

You havn't missed the first. I think they just let him on one of the training runs.

Is there any reason you need to swear in nearly all of your posts?

'lmfao' I don't really notice, but yes, i think there is.

Richard, as for cooler fans, are they relevant to the 91 testing it did?
