I rarely travel on EMUs, however I travelled with class 323 recently and I have some questions...

I can hear class 323's wheel grinding on the rail really loudly mostly at Barnt's green railway station, is that due to tight curve?

Also, I can sometimes hear similar sounds when the train is moving slowly, at around 5 MPH, is it normal?

I find class 323's accelerates really well, I wonder how does class 350 compare to 323 in terms of acceleration and is there any other that accelerates faster than both of them?

Finally, off topic question but... what's loadings on 08:33AM (mon-fri) BHM-EUS on LM like and is it possible for it to be class 350/1 despite calling at Northampton?

Not sure about the lat question but from my experience the class 350's definitely accelerate faster than the 323.
The 350's also have a much better ride.

Unfortunately, Maps has stopped.
As a rule of thumb, anything that leaves Northampton at xx25 or xx50 is a limited stop, (xx25 goes all shacks to LBZ then fast, xx50 only does MKC, WFJ and then EUS, usually accessing the UF at Ledburn) so they are USUALLY booked for Mark one units as they tend to be timed at 110mph. I believe that the xx33 off BHM becomes the xx50 of NMP, therefore should be diagrammed for a 350/1. Loadings on it vary, but expect it to have some of the tail end commuters on it.

I checked the train on OpenTrainTimes, and it is fast one. But it sits at Northampton for 15 minutes, isn't that bit too long?

According to here the train is standing room only. Does it mean it's also standing room from New Street?

Thanks again.
