Mine said "Becoming part of the FirstGroup team involves a thorough selection process and unfortunately, on this occasion, you haven’t been successful. We receive lots of applications, and although you didn’t pass the interview we’d like to hear from you again - although you’ll need to allow at least six months before reapplying. I got the same email yesterday, do you think we'll ever hear back or is it a nicer rejection??

It looks like a case of being in the'Talent Pool'. But where you are in it is any bodies guess. I believe we are in the pool for Mainline drivers also as it was the same selection process!

Just received an email today saying that I was successful on the DM interview. However they had filled the positions. My application is now on hold, until the next intake (whenever that may be). Gutted to have got this far, passed everything and still not got a job. Has anyone else had this experience?

Next intake of Depot or mainline or both?
