Two First Great Western Class 43 powercars were released into traffic today (28th May 2013) wearing the new Hewlett Packard sponsored advertising livery. Seen here is No. 43148 (with 43188) at Torquay and Paignton on the Up and Down Torbay Express's showing both sides, before they get dirty....

I knew worst group had debts but train company's should use their stock to promote their products and not (however much i like my hp laptop) computer company's
There's been a hell of a lot of internet wibble in the past week by people who are seemingly surprised at a train company applying advertising, but people are forgetting the Ginsters 158 that Wessex Trains had, also there was a Hornby liveried Class 43 about 10 years ago (I wonder if that was better received because it's a company enthusiasts like?).
Use the huge promotional space on their side of a train.....to promote their own train, or bus? Where is the income from that?
It's easy money and will become much more commonplace.
Seems someone at FGW thought EC were onto a good thing with 91007 eh!
Yeah! And aren't some of your trains down in London covered in a hideous full-body advert for a low-cost phone carrier? Now that is just TACKY.

Does anyone know the diagrams for the HP liveried 43's for tomorrow. I'd love to get a photo of one of them. Are they due into Paddington at any time?
The 319s have or had the Lyca adverts, also there is at least one 378 in it as well. That's exactly what I've been thinking...
That would be some of the Thameslink 319s in a Lyca Mobile advertising livery IIRC, or some similar operator. Agreed, pretty much graffiti?

Do Scotrail ever do advertising vinyls?
I'd love to see the reaction from SNP in Holyrood if the Unionists Vinyled with Union Flags...
Oh, God! LO put it on a NEW TRAIN? That's just masochism.
