Gen from the Chief

One of Wembley’s finest, 87022 Cock O’ The North will be working: -

1M44 / 1A97 Today
1S96 (through out) tomorrow
1M44 / 1A97 Monday

Now that is DREADFUL!

Broken 325 units that can't be taken off the circuit until Monday is the reason for this.

Cheers for that 1VWC, hopefully a few more will collapse...
Having to reorganise tomorrows plans to ensure i'm on position to phot s96...desperate measures!

You just have to hope that Wembley don't pull their fingers out and get a set of units ready before Monday!

Which would explain why I've seen 2 drags in 2 days involving 87's and 325's!

Yup, 87022 has worked S96 this Wednesday and Friday, with corresponding southbound M44 workings Thursday and should work this Monday. 87028 worked M44(/A97) on Tuesday night - presumably the same sick set which 22 then dropped onto

no 3 325 heading north through watford junction when i passed them

All of 'Wembley's Finest' (as the man himself puts it) are shown at the PRDC tonight.

I see from various websites there is an 'Electric Scot' headboard knocking about. Looks nice but what's it all about? Is it a GBRf 'toy'?

...and rather proud of said headboard he is! It has remained at WB should the need for it arise in the near future...!;)

Haven't seen the GBRf ones for a whilst, must be due an appearance on S96

Someone mention me?!

My toy is indeed now in the careful hands of The Chief...working on a few outings! Watch this space!

To bring this right up to date...

87007 008 006 and 026 are due to move to rejoin the rest of their classmates at Long Marston sometime in the next week or so (unfortunately not in time for the open day). Cotswold are to provide the motive power.

There is also to be some more Class 1 passenger action (unfortunately not regular diagrammed work) for the GB twins with two appearances pencilled in on the Blue Pullman this month.

Any ideas on the routing to Long Marston Gaz? Is it likely to be WCML or GWML?

Mega skoda device action today - 90018 worked 1310 Eus-Brum/1500 Brum-Eus plus usual

It's because SV is off in the US of A otherwise it have been his mission not to use the 90 at any cost, even if it involved mega mileage Pendo ECS moves...

An update.

Move probably happening Monday. GWML routing I'm afraid for all you WM lads. Watch out for a headboard too.

Just had a phone call from The Chief...

87s move from WB Monday.

Mon: 1230 x WB via the GWML to WORCESTER YARD (stabling overnight).

Tue: ???? Worcester Yard-Long Marston.

Shame they couldn't go back over their old stomping ground but hey.

Cameras at the ready..!

Well the 0530 BNS-Cardiff goes via Worcester and that's the first train! Don't think even Cotswold drivers get up that early though...!
