There are LM Only fares to Hereford via New Street.
In the "good old days" (BR) it was certainly a valid route (at higher fare).
I don't see why it would not be accepted in the current disruption.
It is valid, ticket acceptance is in force.
Customers are advised to expect significantly increased journey times and our services both to and from London Paddington to be particularly busy. We have lifted ticket restrictions for all journeys affected. - Chiltern Services via Banbury to Marylebone
Network Rail expects disruption to continue for the remainder of Friday 21st December.
