We find that an overnight stay even at this time of the day is a sensible option and we have an excellent evening meal, a sleep of great relaxation and a very good hearty breakfast before making our way to Parkside Place to board the 0750 Snaiths Travel service 880 to Hexham bus station that arrives there at 0830 on Tuesday morning.

Time tells us onwards transport at this time is only aspirational but this area is so pleasant that we decide to book overnight accommodation and then to stroll around the environs. We are notified that we are very lucky, the following day being Thursday. when the "Thursday only" service (one in each direction) to Banbury runs with an early start from our location. We find a good restaurant to partake of an evening meal then return to the B & B to sleep the sleep of the just and to give thanks for an excellent cooked breakfast, before making our way back to High Street where we are in good time to board the Thursdays only 0900 Pulhams Coaches service 806 to Banbury bus station that arrives there at 1030 on Thursday morning.

It being market day (why else a once a week bus) we have a wander round the stalls before catching the Stagecoach Oxfordshire 200 service at 1115 to Woodford Halse in the probably vain hope of seeing some GCR relics. We arrive at Quinton Lane at 1145
