To clarify, a prime is a natural number greater than zero which has exactly 2 natural factors, itself and 1. Robinson has explained why 1 is not prime, primes with that number of words in a stations name are 2, 3 and 5 (I don't think any British station has more than 5 words in its name).

Is this an official current name? For example (and this is not an answer) Shipton has in the past been known as Shipton for Burford, and the town is Shipton under Wychwood

The station's name is in the form used for the answer on the National Rail website and the National Rail Timetable, so I presume it is its official current website. It also appears as such in Open Train Times, which is a public window to an internal railway system.

I'm having problems with this as well. The closest I can get are Wavertree Technology Park, which does score 44 but has one too many platforms, and Aylesbury Vale Parkway, which comes up as 43.

best I could do is Smethwick Galton Bridge - which is (I think) 41. Even Jewellery Quarter is only 38 despite having a J and Q in the name !

I see we have no valid guesses, after three days of the clue existing. I don't think the event of all members being stumped on clue 4 has occured before, I think before revealing clue 5 I have to wait for somebody to come up with a valid answer, which judging by the responses so far the right answer may fit uniquely. Do we need an extra clause in the rules?

If a set of clues becomes exhausted by the end of Clue 4 I guess a fifth clue that adds nothing will have to be provided. You might say it begins with a consonant for instance?

I genuinely have no idea. Neither can I hang around to play too much longer because I'm off to Birmingham in a bit!

Is the wrong answer. As you didn't state it wasn't a submission of an answer, a point off for failure to comply with clue 4 I think.
I'll give the others a reasonable amount of time to have a think.

As promised, I've allowed a reasonable amount of time and am now posting the answer, which is St Keyne Wishing Well Halt. As the keen eyed among you will spot, as I did when typing out the addition for the points for the explanation, I have buggered up the addinbg up (or made a typographical error in the clue). -3 for me it is then.
