My friend is bulidlng a very VERY good live steam model of 4472 in A1 condition. Would it be possible to scan ( take some digital pics) of the plans that are in the British Exhibition book please?

For my sins i am just doing a 5in B17 lol

If your friend is interested he can own the original... Research suggest the average listing was for £55 - £60. If he wants the original document £45 would be a fair price. I would even throw in an original copy of Loco Profile issue No1 on LNER non-streamline Pacifics for him. Payment can be via BACs or as a gift payment via paypal (so I receive the full amount)

You're right, the threshold seems to have been raised. It used to be around 1000, now it seems to be over 1100

I’ve always had a soft spot for Hitachi AT100 & AT200. It’s too bad the AT100 weren’t used and the AT200 was only used on one operator, ScotRail. I personally like the older designs, I’m talking about the designs what we’re shown off at the launch in 2014. I’m not really a fan of the new designs, as shown in the portfolio video. But hey, that’s my opinion.

Honestly the AT200 introduction was a bit of a fiasco though, especially when it came to light that the windscreens were the wrong shape.

How did you find out the Q&G post count since the new style XenForo system came recently on line? There used to be a profile page heading called "Areas" which showed the exact numbers of postings that you had made in every section forum of the website, but like many other items, that has vanished during the last website upgrade.

I did it manually; hovering over the icon for each thread I'd posted in, which revealed my post count for that thread, and added them up.
