Has anyone taken this? By chance I will be in Zurich next Sunday and I discovered that this will be running.

I only really want to travel from Sihlwald to Sihlbrugg and back, as the rest can be done on the regular S4 (for which I will have a day ticket) and I am more into track bashing than spending lots of time on heritage stock. However it seems like a ticket is 28 francs return regardless of distance...

Do the whole trip. You can‘t do the other end from Saalsporthalle to Zürich Wiedikon on the S4. It‘s just a tunnel though.
