YP Discount on a Peak ODT

Hi,
I've just been told that I can't use my YP Railcard on a Peak One Day London Travelcard, and the best option for me would be to buy a return to London then a seperate All Zones ticket for LUL. Is this true, as I've got a third off a Travelcard before, and am currently very confused!

The Peak Day Travelcard has a special minimum fare of £14.80 when bought as part of a ticket to London with a Y-P railcard. Does your ticket cost less than this?

I'm not sure, I had a look at the machine at Sittingbourne, a All Day Travelcard was £23.45 with discount so I think I'll get this, save mucking around with multiple tickets.

The fare is £35.50 before discount. Avantix Traveller won't show any travelcard fares from Sittingbourne with a Y-P but a Y-P is a valid discount, so £23.45 sounds right.
