Hoping one of the forum whizzes can help me here - have no idea if this is valid or a glitch…

I’m off to Essex this weekend to visit a friend so have purchased a Super Off-Peak (Priv) via London single for £19.00 (York to Basildon)

Normally I’d just do York > Kings X > tube > Fenchurch St > Basildon, but just checking my timings for transfers and the LNER app has given me the following itinerary as an option on weekdays (tonight for example), but only with a First Class ticket price option?

1734 York - Kings X 1938
TRANSFER to St Pancras
2007 St Pancras Int’l - Stratford Int’l 2014
TRANSFER Stratford Int’l - West Ham (DLR)
2043 West Ham - Basildon 2109

Is this a valid routing, or an anomaly?

If it’s valid then I’ll be doing it just for a laugh as timing doesn’t really bother me

Don’t know about the validity, but if you’re travelling tomorrow (Saturday 17th) then note that West Ham are playing at home, finishing at about 19:30. So Stratford and Stratford International will be very busy.

I can't see anything wrong with the route.

The forum retail site will offer similar itineraries for the non-Priv equivalent ticket.

Be off much earlier than that so no worries

Thanks both!

Morning. I'd suggest tube Kings X to Liverpool Street and jump on the direct 2015 service arriving at Basildon at 2054. Fewer changes and you'll avoid the football crowd until they board at Stratford.

Id normally suggest sitting at the front of the train to avoid most of the crowds, but the exit to Basildon is at the back of the train if you don't want to walk back.
