York station freight trains rerouting to avoid station

Hello,

I have noticed that some freight trains that would usually pass York station (and IM trains etc) have had their paths varied to not come through York this weekend and instead through the avoider, leaving basically just the RHTT the only thing coming through the station.

I understand recently the avoiding line at York has been off limits for a reason I do not know,

It would be great if anyone knows why freight has been varied to avoid York,

Wasn't there originally a closure booked this weekend to work on the third line north of the station? Presumably the freight was moved to avoid the closure, and it wasn't worth moving it back when the work was cancelled.

That would make sense, it explains why the RHTT and other STP services are using the station now. Thanks for the info
