I have been at york several times over the past year, and they always display and sometimes anounce trains as being "arrived" way before they actually have - has been upto 10 mins. I don't know if this is to fiddle their punctuality statistics or what, but something deffo isn't right. Interestingly on board they acknowledge the lateness, and an apology is usually reeled off... anyone know what's going on?

No idea but it happens all the time. For me it would say the 08.27 to Leeds had arrved about half an hour before it actually did. Yesterday it did the same thing, the train forming the 08.27 didn't run so a late running set from Harrogate replaced it. It was due at the same platform as the 08.25 XC to Edinburgh (not sure of correct timing) and both were showing as "Arrived". This confused a few people who had to ask if the XC was the Leeds train.

The boards have also been quoting the wrong platforms a lot lately too, and with no manual announcements.

I nearly missed my last train home the other night!
