Yes I was thinking that, one assumes that this quarters passenger numbers have been somewhat disappointing compared with last quarters. I wonder if EC are going to have to run near permanent £25 offers in order to prop up the numbers until it gets refranchised?

Don't be silly!

They're a large, viable, profitable and established business with a sound business plan. Why on earth would they make a considered adjustment to their pricing model if it wasn't part of their long-term projections?

You make them look like a bunch of amateurs desperately trying every trick at their disposal to generate every penny they can, or like a used car dealer picking out every positive detail while ignoring the glaringly massive problems. Which, obviously, they are not (but, now that I reflect on the facts, . . . . hmmmm)
