Hi there. Looking at traveling on the drags from Norwich to Yarmouth this year but would want to book a long way in advance to get it nice and cheap. :D Although looking around I hear in previous years on some Saturdays the drags have been substituted for DMUs at short notice due to driver shortages. Does this happen often or is the Class 47 haulage usually pretty reliable?

Thanks

It's DRS and so is Safe, Secure and reliable. ish. sort of. When the duff isn't broken...

More seriously, there are 3 duffs outbased at the Circus for this work IIRC, albeit one is long term broke, so unless it collapses on the day its as reliable as you are going to get.
