There is one between Carnoustie and Arbroath on the 27th, at York on the 29th and 30th and between York and Doncaster on the 5th and 6th.

On my local c2c line they are closing the line between Leigh on Sea-Pitsea with Buses replacing (Class 357) trains over this section ( Utilising 47 buses at peak Times) between Christmas & New Year.
When this usually happens the normally rarely used platform 2 at Leigh on Sea is used to terminate.
