I travelled on couple of Voyagers (10th July), between Tiverton-Plymouth-derby,and Cheltenham-Tiverton, with the Aircon only working in part of the unit, and having found a carriage with decent Aircon it was ok, though even when worked well to start with, over time the Aircon seemed to stop being so effective It ,seemed that the Aircon was either not working , or when it worked struggled to keep being effective. During the journeys, the Train Maanagers were encouraging passengers not to stand in vestibules which were boiling hot, and to and move through the train, and said they were just trying to keep things moving, and were having hard time keeping people cool and dealing with very busy or overcrowded Voyagers, did not envy their job in these conditions .

The Aircon on first trips seemed to blow on and off, keeping carriage warm but not boiling hot, and when asked Manager they said coach was in, had degraded engine working, so can this affect the Aircon ability to work properly? And are Voyagers known for struggling to have good Aircon in every coach? Later had a Turbostar unit with Aircon good at start, but even that had Aircon become less effective over time, so would this have been Aircon struggling again or Could Train Manager have been adjusting temperature?
