XC Voyager Refurbishment

Had the luxury of riding 220014 yesterday. Crowding issues down the core aside, a really comfortable journey with good legroom and a rarity on UK trains with a sturdy well sized table. I'd say these have the best interior of any actively operating train in the UK?

I’d say the 390 beats them, but they’d come close.

I'm quite relieved that there's not much change to the interior. It's a shame to lose the space age style seats for ones that will date more quickly. The newer seats aren't as comfortable. The main need for refurbishment was to get rid of the fake wood effects and Virgin moquette.

I do find the outgoing Antonin seats are very comfortable indeed, but one thing I’m hugely grateful for post refurbishment on is that my laptop now fits the airline seat pull downs.
