Hi all,

Can someone tell me what the salaries for Senior Conductor and Train Managers are like at XC please? Also any ideas of the shift patterns for both? Also, what are the jobs like? Do Train Managers get decent jobs because of longer routes?

Thanks

Hello. A Train Manager for XC gets paid £32,000 if I remember correctly- I saw a position being advertised a few months ago at Reading. They work on average 35 hour per week. The Train Managers would work on the Voyagers and HSTs (Class 43) and would therefore go longer distances.

I am not sure for Senior Conductors but I imagine it would be a few thousand pounds lower in salary and probably also 35 hour per week. Senior Conductors work on the Turbostar.
