Hi All,
I've been looking into a career change and have recently seen the role of Train Manager on CrossCountry advertised at BHM.
I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice in terms of the application process (and what to expect further down the line if successful) for someone who's interested in, but has not worked in the rail industry before. Also any other info about the working environment at XC (hours, conditions, benefits etc) would be great.
For background info, I've got a lot of customer service experience including time working on shop floors, in contact centres and on service desks before specialising as a VoIP/Network Administrator person. Now faced with redundancy (again) I was looking into the railways for a possible career change and would be interested if anyone has any similar experiences.
Thanks
Andy
